My hands twitched as I stood at the bus stop.  Right across the street was a silver beauty that had my name on it. God that Bentley looks so sweet! I thought as it glistened in the sunlight.  My foot tapped against the pavement.

No!  I can’t.  I pulled my sweet kicks back to the curb and jam my fingers into my pockets. My baggy pants were really dirty so they itched against my dark brown skin.  Not again…I can’t go back to jail.

But you soooooooo want, dontcha? A voice in the back of my head spoke like a sweet seductress.  She was my inner demon telling me to do what I wanted to and I want to do it so bad.

But I had to remain strong.  I mean, how bad would it look if I stole a sweet car on my way to my parole hearing?  Pretty bad, right?

Do it!  Dooooooooo it!  She was back chanting those words over and over again like a beating drum.  No one will misssssss it. They’re rich anyways.  Doooooooo it!

I nervously glance around, there are no people coming up or down the street.  Just me and the car and my own twisted thoughts.  And boy, it was hard to ignore that damn voice because I soooooo wanted to.

And, it wouldn’t be that difficult.  Walk over, grab a nearby brick, smash the window, open the door, and hotwire the engine.  I bet I could probably beat my record of twenty seconds if I really wanted to.

No! I can’t! I remind myself and took a deep breath.  Just need to hold out a little longer…the bus should be here any second….

But that’s no fuuuuun!  The voice resurfaced with a vengeance.  Just take it for a little joy ride.  Pleassssssse! It’s a Bentley, your favorite.

Finally, the bus came and I hopped on faster than you could say fire!  I averted my eyes from the window and covered my face with my hoodie.  Shaking my head, I groaned as I felt a headache coming on.  Quitting was going to be harder than I thought.
